Preparing Teens Day

"It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." – Charles Darwin
Teenagers today are navigating a world that is changing faster than ever — one shaped by technology, fuelled by connection, and full of challenges we’re only beginning to understand. As educators, how do we prepare them for a future we can’t fully see?
In this three-part event, we’ll look at the key skills our learners will need for the world of 2025 and how the English classroom can be a space for developing creativity, empathy and resilience. We’ll then lift the lid on the digital social lives of teenagers — a world many adults never truly see — before exploring how that world is affecting students’ mental health, sense of self, and emotional wellbeing. From design thinking to digital wellness, these sessions are about helping teenagers find their way — and their voice — in an unpredictable world, both online and off.
The event will take place live 3 times on Wednesday 26th November
at 10am, 3pm, and 9:30pm UK Time.
