Young Learners Day

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." – William Butler Yeats

Curiosity, independence, and global thinking don’t just emerge on their own — they’re nurtured, day by day, by the people children trust most: their educators.

In this 3-part event, we’ll explore how learning begins in the earliest years, how structure gives children the confidence to flourish, and how big-picture thinking can start right from the primary classroom. Whether you teach nursery or upper primary, these sessions are about building the habits of heart and mind that last a lifetime."

The event will take place live 3 times on Wednesday 12th November
at 10am, 3pm, and 9:30pm UK Time and will last for around 90 minutes.

    Session 2

    Self–Awareness Begins with Action

Through intentional actions—exploring, playing creatively, or facing challenges—children begin to understand their abilities, interests, and thoughts.
In this session, we’ll look at how self-awareness develops in early childhood and how educators can gently support it. From routines to moments of choice, we’ll explore simple ways to help children recognize feelings, notice strengths, and see themselves as capable and valued.

    Session 3
